Job Description


What you’ll do:

  • Develop comprehensive plans and strategies to achieve and surpass new business growth targets, both on a personal level and for our digital marketing business as a whole.
  • Generate and qualify new business leads, aligning with our strategic plan. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients to meet and exceed objectives.
  • Manage the entire sales process for new prospects, from lead generation to delivering compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations. Craft and execute winning strategies to secure new clients.
  • Manage client expectations and play an active role in the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to signed agreement.
  • Identify and lead cross-functional teams in preparing for pitches and capabilities meetings, especially with key prospective client relationships.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activities, providing valuable feedback to the company's leadership team and other functions to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with Brandpoint's marketing team to ensure seamless coordination and alignment between business development and marketing efforts.
  • Travel as needed for in-person meetings with clients to develop strong relationships and enhance business partnerships.
  • Serve as an internal and external thought leader, staying up-to-date with industry trends and sharing expertise within the organization and with clients.
  • Foster and maintain a positive, winning business development culture within the team.

Qualifications


What You Need to Have:

  • Five or more years of B2B business development experience within a marketing agency or similar environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals in business development.
  • Strong proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
